About Damascus Bakeries
The Damascus Bakeries were founded in 1930 by Hassan Halaby in Brooklyn, New York. At the time, the bakery focused on the production of Middle Eastern pita and lavash bread to feed the local population. Over the years, Damascus introduced several innovations and expanded its range to include wraps, roll-ups and panini bread. Damascus products are now sold in all fifty states of the USA and abroad.
